ABOUT THIS COMMISSION
The 992 GT3 RS is a formidable trackday weapon, designed to extract every ounce of performance from the iconic 911 platform. With its 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six, the RS churns out a staggering 518 bhp, propelling it to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds. But what truly sets this Porsche apart from the standard GT3 is its relentless focus on downforce, which is clearly evident in the massive rear wing, aggressive front splitter, and fully adjustable suspension. As a result, the GT3 RS has a lower top speed than the regular model - 184 mph versus the GT3’s 195 mph. The reason for this is straightforward: while the GT3 RS is more powerful and slightly lighter, its immense aerodynamic improvements, designed to increase grip and cornering speeds, generate additional drag.
